They recognized the need to revamp their office space to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. UKP’s decision to relocate to a space with a bigger warehouse signaled growth and expansion. However, they acknowledged that the upgrade shouldn’t be limited to the warehouse alone; the office environment needed an overhaul to align with the company’s evolving ethos and recent re-brand. Sagal collaborated closely with UKP to understand their requirements and preferences.
The heart of the project lay in choosing furniture that not only met functional needs but also contributed to the overall aesthetics and ambiance of the workspace. Sit/stand desks emerged as a popular choice, promoting ergonomic comfort while accommodating varying work preferences. Additionally, matching ergonomic chairs were selected to ensure optimal support and comfort during long working hours.
The ground floor space presented a unique challenge and opportunity. UKP envisioned a multifunctional area that fostered collaboration as well as an overflow working space during peak periods, and also provides additional informal meeting zones. Sagal’s expertise in space utilization and furniture selection played a pivotal role in transforming this vision into reality, as well as a full on day in the showroom viewing, testing products and getting fully involved in the colour and fabrics selections together.
Once the furniture selections were finalized, Sagal oversaw the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption to UKP’s operations. Post-installation, feedback poured in from UKP’s employees, with Michael expressing delight at the transformative impact of the revamped workspace. He noted increased interaction among team members, citing instances of impromptu meetings and relaxed gatherings in the newly created breakout zones.
