#Sagalwoodenman Talks COLOUR
Dulux and Valspar seem to have hit the nail on the head with their 2015 TV adverts on design trends.
#Sagalwoodenman can really see how these trends are crossing over into the world of office interiors. That COLOUR IS BACK! Shown so well in the Dulux advert. – The once upon-a-time, futuristic ideal of white on white, creating a very sterile environment is very much out and colour is in!
Within the workplace white work surfaces are still popular; however companies are really embracing their brands and adding personality to their working environments. The simplest way of doing this is adding colour to the workstation screen dividers. And as manufacturing processes become easier, there is greater flexibility to offer even more creativity for adding colour to other elements of office furniture.
Customers have been choosing coloured steel components and veneer effect top finishes again, over white. In some cases choosing something really different. Sagal have provided black laminate tops with ply edge detail, Blue laminate tops, Mint green legs with white ply edge tops to note a few.
But it doesn’t stop at the workstations; Task chairs are available in an array of colourful meshes and fabrics. And breakout areas and tea points are not only full of colour but full of cosy soft furnishings, bringing a trend of home comforts into the office. In the words of Valspur ‘Stop blending in’.
So, if you’re thinking about how to add some colour and personality to your workspace environment, have a look at some of our customer’s projects.
