The Sagal Group occupies a unique space in the world of furniture and design. Our exclusive partnerships with high-quality furniture manufacturers throughout the UK and Europe allow us to design and develop new products as well as tailoring our existing product portfolio to meet clients’ exact needs. Our clients are not bound by manufacturer specifications; we can alter size, colour and finish to create a beautiful furniture solution that is wholly unique. And if we can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll design it ourselves. So, whether you are an architect looking for something more, or a contractor, designer or project manager who needs a furniture partner, we have the experience, passion and agility to deliver.

The Sagal Group: a family affair

We are an independent, privately owned British company with a long history in furniture and design, run by people who love what they do. Here’s a condensed history of our (nearly) 40 years creating furniture for beautiful environments.

1978 Sagal Interiors established by Susan and Gerard Anthony Logue (whose initials spell Sagal) in Kenilworth, Warwickshire

1980s Grew to become leading contract furniture and interiors specialist working throughout the UK, known for product quality and service

1993 Established agreement with two leading Italian manufacturers, giving Sagal exclusive sales and marketing rights in the UK as well as a unique new product development role enabling us to offer an unrivalled breadth of choice in finish, size and colour.

1990s The success of our factory partnerships enabled us to expand our product portfolio and we became Sagal Group

1997 Christian Logue, son of the founders, joined the family business, initially working on supply and logistics, then sales and now as Director.

2005 First London showroom opens in the iconic Tea Building in Shoreditch enabling the design community to try our products before specifying them

2005 Sagal Group portfolio grows to incorporate a leading Swiss manufacturer and a third Italian producer

2010 Second showroom opens in Clerkenwell, the heart of London’s design and furniture community

Today Our team continues to grow, working to create unique workspaces with beautiful furniture that fulfils both practical needs and aesthetic desires.
